National Committee 2021 Elections

Nominations are now open for the Open Labour National Committee elections!

 

The timetable for elections to our governing body is as follows:

  • Nominations Open: Monday 5th July 2021
  • Nominations Close: Monday 19th July 2021 (Start of campaign period)
  • Ballots Open: Friday 23rd July 2021
  • Ballots Close: Friday 6th August 2021 (End of the campaign period)

 

The following positions are open for nomination:

  • Open Places x 10
  • LGBT+ Officer
  • Disability Officer
  • Women’s Officer
  • Youth Officer
  • BAME Officer
  • Scotland Officer
  • Wales Officer 
  • Parliamentary Officer

 

New members will be eligible to vote through the election process so please do encourage supporters you know to join here to take part.

 

Following the close of nominations we can confirm that the following roles only received one nomination and are therefore elected unopposed:

  • Women’s Officer – Kerri Prince
  • Scotland Officer – Keiran O’Neill
  • Wales Officer – Cai Parry
  • Parliamentary Officer – Alex Sobel
